Shadow Butte Library has been "cruising away" 
with good books.
Shadow Butte Library
We encourage reading as well as responsibility by having students return their library books on time.
2nd thru 6th grade students may checkout two books if they have no overdue books. Checkout is for 2 weeks.
Students are encouraged to stamp their book with the due date so they know when the book is due.
Kindergarten and 1st grade students can checkout one book for one week.
Currently there are no fines for late books. We do expect each student to take good care of the books and pay for any damaged or lost books.
Parents are always welcome in the library. Many thanks to Mrs. Ingram, who helps with kindergarten when they checkout.
We buy Accelerated Reader tests to help the students know the reading level of books and to check for comprehension. It is wonderful to see the growth of our students through the year. The following are the AR tests that we have available in our school. We are open to your suggestions for tests and books for our library.
